This place is fantastic, and I highly recommend it! Everything I ordered was incredibly fresh. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients used. It's definitely worth trying if you're looking for a great meal. Don't hesitate to give them a chance! The lady working up front brought us fresh water while we waited. Really quick service and the food was insanely good.

The BBQ pork pastry came out piping hot from the oven. One bite in, and I was sold. The pastry was incredibly flaky and crispy, the filling was generous, and it was nothing like the softer versions I’ve had elsewhere that had been sitting for a while. It was so, so good. After that, I couldn’t resist peeking through the kitchen window. Watching the chefs wrapping, steaming, and baking dim sum to order made everything look even more appetizing. We also ordered the lava custard buns, cheese balls, pan-fried turnip cake, and siu mai. Every dish was satisfying. The lava buns were soft and freshly steamed, the turnip cake was flavorful with a perfectly crispy crust, and the cheese balls were warm, crispy, and delicious. If you’re like me and prefer made-to-order dim sum over dim sum that’s prepared ahead of time, this place is definitely worth a visit!

Came here to pick up food. I believe the gentleman who helped me, his name was Xing He. He treated me with such kindness and made me feel welcome as a fellow chinese. :) When I told him I was from Malaysia, he offered me a soda and wanted to make sure I was well taken cared. Food was amazing as well. The tofu rolls and the egg tarts were the best. Thank you! I will be coming back again!

Oh my gosh. I don’t know why this place has such low ratings?! I love dim sum & duck & although I don’t eat it often I am picky. This place I tried only once but they delivered exceptional service & food. I came on Christmas bc I didn’t want to cook and they were open. The lady at the front was so sweet and helpful, even offered me a drink as I waited for my food. We ordered the pecking duck, combination lo mein, and chicken dumplings. The duck was cooked perfect & was juicy. We got the half order and they gave me a good amount of meat not any bones in my order which i was very happy about. I’ve been to some places where they hardly give any meat and it all bones. Not this place. Everything was so yum & they packaged my order perfectly. They remembered the chili oil and everything. My bf who doesn’t eat dim sum or duck often also really liked the food here so that should say something!!! We will definitely be coming back.

Shanghai Chinese Restaurant has been a favorite of mine for years. When I lived nearby, it was my go-to spot and it was always good. Recently, I went back with my parents, and I’m happy to say it’s better than ever. We ordered the sesame chicken along with some dim sum, and everything was incredible. The chicken was clearly real, fresh, high-quality chicken—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The dim sum was just as impressive, and now I’m genuinely torn every time I go between ordering dim sum or that sesame chicken because both are that good. They’ve also added some new menu items that are absolutely worth trying. After trying the pineapple bbq puff, I went back the next day hoping to have it again, but it was sold out—which honestly just tells you how popular and good it must be. The atmosphere has noticeably improved recently too; it feels warmer, more welcoming, and just an even better place to be. Even though I live farther away now, this is still my go-to takeout spot.
